Full-Time Accounting Position
in the Finance Department

The Town of Ticonderoga is seeking to fill one (1) full-time position in the Finance Office. The title of this position will be determined by the qualifications of the selected candidate. Regardless of title, this will be a competitive class position, and the Town is currently seeking to hire someone on a provisional basis. The successful candidate would be proficient at operating a computerized accounting system and be required, per Civil Service regulations, to pass an examination once it is offered, and score amongst the top three candidates in order to achieve probationary/permanent status. The ideal candidate will be a good communicator, have an interest in public service and thrive in a team-oriented environment. The Town of Ticonderoga offers a strong benefit package, including participation in the NYS Retirement System, comprehensive medical insurance & HSA, optional deferred compensation plan and a generous paid vacation and holiday schedule. Activities Attendant

The Town of Ticonderoga is seeking interested applicants for the position of Activities Attendant for the After-School Program. Applicants must be 16 years of age or older and have experience working with children. The After-School Program operates while school is in session between the hours of 3:00 PM to 6:00 PM. This position is part-time at the rate of $12.86/hour.
Youth Commission Member

The Town of Ticonderoga is looking for interested individuals to be members of the Ticonderoga Youth Commission. This is a volunteer position with monthly meetings. There is also the occasional need to chaperone an event and opportunity to share your talents and abilities through the commission. A passion for working with children is imperative for the success of the program.
