Library Aide

This position, at the Black Watch Memorial Library, is part-time (approximately 25 hrs/wk) at $12.24/hour, with no benefits. Schedule may require flexibility during busy summer season and employee vacations. Applicant should be a reliable, motivated self-starter requiring minimal supervision, extremely detail oriented, be familiar with the operation of office equipment, use computers competently, answer frequent questions about computers, and have excellent public service skills. The ability to climb stairs, bend, squat, stand, twist, reach and lift heavy boxes up to 45lbs is required. Selected applicants will be given a basic library skills evaluation prior to interview. Groundskeeper This position is part-time “on call” (hours will vary) at $12.24/hour, with no benefits. Minimum qualifications are 1 year experience as a laborer engaged in groundskeeper activities or as a watchman. Applications are being accepted indefinitely.
Activities Attendant The Town of Ticonderoga is seeking interested applicants for the position of Activities Attendant for the After-School Program. Applicants must be 16 years of age or older and have experience working with children. The After-School Program operates while school is in session between the hours of 3:00 PM to 6:00 PM. This position is part-time at the rate of $12.24/hour.
Youth Commission Member The Town of Ticonderoga is looking for interested individuals to be members of the Ticonderoga Youth Commission. This is a volunteer position with monthly meetings. There is also the occasional need to chaperone an event and opportunity to share your talents and abilities through the commission. A passion for working with children is imperative for the success of the program.
